It's been another great week in the twin island state of Antigua and Barbuda with new Antigua Real Estate coming onto the market and fun events as leading up to Carnival, the Caribbeans greatest summer festival. Those who were present at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium on Tuesday were treated to the CONCAF semi-finals between our Antigua & Barbuda Benna Boys and the Jamaica Reggae Boyz which ended in a 0 - 0 draw.
Here's a heads up on what's happening this weekend.
- Soka Fete-ish - will be held on Saturday, June 16th 2012 with "The Wotless Man" Kes the Band will be performing LIVE! This event is up close and personal, at Brysons on Friars Hill Road. While on your way to this event, you can check out Friars Hill Estate which enjoys spectacular views over the city and the Caribbean Sea.
- Mango Pineapple Culinary Competition - This event will begin at 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on Saturday June 16th 2012 with tons of activities such as silent auctions, games for children and adults and also specials and handouts from Digicel. There will also be a Sting Ray Scavenger Hunt with a prize of a trip to swim with the Sting Rays at Sting ray city. Also up for grabs are 26 scholarships for courses available at ABHTI. Come out and support in your numbers.
