It's Friday! The long awaited weekend is here and we hope you're having an awesome day so far. Here are a few events going down over the weekend:

Friday 7th June

Shell's Fish & Chips - This weekend, enjoy a fun evening at Shells Fish and Chips, located opposite Sugar Ridge, on Valley Road. On Fridays one can dance the night away with live music, within the botanical gardens or on board an original London Double Decker bus. Feast on delicious English fish and chips, mushy peas, coconut shrimp, battered sausages, or fried gherkins. What time you ask? 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM.

Seafood Night - Kick off the weekend with Seafood Night, later on today at the Sugar Club. Enjoy the Seafood Platter including King Crab, lobster and while live music is performed by Rico and the 4Play Band, starting from 6:00 PM.

Little Tokyo - Car enthusiasts are you ready for the largest car meet in Antigua for 2013!? AntiguaStreetz presents 'Little Tokyo', which promises to be bigger and better this year with lots of giveaways, girls and CARS! This week’s beach of the week takes across to the sister isle of Barbuda, to Two Foot Bay.

Two Foot Bay is a beautiful stretch of coastline found fifteen minutes northeast of the capital of Codrington. The beach features pink and white sand, and waters there are clear – a great location for snorkeling with an abundance of reefs just off shore, teeming with tropical marine life.

This particular beach is a point of attraction for Barbuda, with the Darby and Indian caves found there. In the past, they were camp sites for the Arawaks; the native inhabitants of the island, and also feature many petroglyphs drawn onto the interior of the caves.

Two miles to the south is Dark Cave, which has a narrow entrance leading to a vast cavern containing pools of water, theorized to be a water source for Arawaks as artifacts have been found nearby. Dark Cave is the habitat for a rare species of amphipod, the blind shrimp, as well as several species of bats.
